In short yes. A car wash is a cost effective way to detail your car, although cost effective in the short run, using these services long term or as a once off can be very costly. Riley has restored countless amounts cars due to poor quality car wash chemicals, user error and even other professional detailers and body shops work. Invest in your investment with detailing from a professional.
My piece of advice would be that you yourself request the dealership not to wash or detail your car upon delivery at any stage. Reason being I see this weekly, where newly delivered cars a covered in sometimes Unimaginable amount of swirls marks. A dealership and their detailers are much like a production line, where a Professional detailer is a Personalised service, at Autostyle we’re car enthusiasts who want to keep your car in its best condition. Furthermore dealer installed coatings are installed by untrained individuals without correcting defects, resulting in a car covered with defects and likelihood of that coatings life expectancy to end very short, costing you more in the long run.
