Paint correction is the process of restoring a car’s paint to its original condition. It involves polishing and refining the paint to remove swirl marks, oxidation, and other imperfections. The result is a smooth, glossy finish that looks like new. Paint correction can also improve the overall appearance of a car by making it look more vibrant and attractive. Paint correction is an important part of car maintenance as it helps to protect your vehicle from further damage. By removing any existing imperfections in the paintwork, you can ensure that your car looks its best for years to come. With careful attention to detail, paint correction can help restore your car’s original shine and beauty.
Following a full exterior paintwork clean & decontamination, we use high quality polish compounds & dual action polishers to remove light swirl marks & defects from your car’s paintwork in a single stage. Single stage correction is for cars with the lightest of imperfections or that require a light polish to improve clarity and gloss.
This serviced is at heavily defected cars the require extra attention to remove imperfections such as deep swirling, oxidisation, scratches removing between 80%-95% of these defects. Following a decontamination wash, your paint is assessed in depth and measured prior to any paint correction.
A single stage of correction is for vehicles requiring the least amount of polishing to remove defects. A dual stage correction requires two stages of corrective work, starting off with a cutting compound to reduce heavier defects and finishing on softer refining polishes resulting in beautiful paintwork.
